Yes, but you will have to use a second power adapter. If you had a 360 slim, you would only have to plug in one cord into the back of the 360
July 6, 2010: There is no official name for the new Xbox 360, but Kinect is an add-on for the Xbox 360. However I'm not sure if Kinect will work for the "old" Xbox 360 and only the new Xbox 360.
it does not work on the orignal xbox but it works on any xbox 360 console
It should if you got your xbox at two years ago - Mrs. Lautner
on some they do
yes i have the kinect ready xbox (4gb) i can play all games the only reason it is named different is because the kinect ready xbox can play kinect games because it has the software in. you cannot play kinect games on any other xbox apart from the 2 new kinect ready xbox
Yes. But if you have an old (not slim) XBox, the Kinect will need a separate power adaptor
The old elite needs an adaptor the new one is ready
Firstly, its called just the Kinect, not Xbox 360 Kinect. The reason being is that the Kinect is a open source hardware which can be used by other companies. The kinect will connect to all Xbox 360's. With the older models, you will need to attach the power supply (included). The Xbox 360 S does not need this power supply.
No, but you do have the ability to buy a cord from gamestop that allows you to connect the old xbox 360 hard drive to the kinect.
No. Just hook the old X-box with the new Kinect.
xbox 360 250gb- $299 xbox 360 4gb- $199 xbox 360 4gb with kinect- $299 old xbox 360 (refurbished)- around $120 in gamestop
The Kinect is a add-on for the Xbox 360 console, this means any Xbox 360 can play the Kinect. To do so on the older Xbox 360 models, Just use the other cable which hooked up into the mains and your off. - The cable is provided within the Kinect box.
