If a Muslim commit a sin or do a bad deed and sincerely repent to God and intend not to do the sin or the bad deed again he/she may be forgiven per God mercy and then would spend his/her eternal life in the Paradise. The important belief is that to worship God as the one and only one God with no partner, no son, no father, no companion, no associate, and no equivalence.
