Will NTSC games work on a PAL?
yah my xbox 360 plays PAL, but Nintendo games are not region-free generally.
No. NTSC games will not work on a PAL Xbox 360.
Probably not, (Ahem) There are 2 regions of Wiis. PAL and NTSC. PAL Wiis can only play PAL games. NTSC games can only be played by NTSC Wiis. NTSC is usually for The USA, PAL is generally for everywhere else. There are also NTSC-J Wiis in japan.
Yes because they are both PAL. EU and Au is both PAL so they are both compatible .but remember USA is NTSC so PAL games wont work on NTSC.
No, the 3DS is region locked.
It doesn't matter from which country you bought the games The disc region is what counts PAL games on PAL consoles NTSC games work on NTSC consoles And some games are region free
yes psp is not region locked
Any games you use from the UK will work, but not the ones from the US. The US uses NTSC, and the UK uses PAL, You're in the same region as the UK. PAL and NTSC are region. I also assume that the wii was purchased in Ireland? If it was bought in the US it will only play NTSC.
Errm No sadly, because games from the US use NTSC signals. But Unfortunately European Wii do not support NTSC because they work with PAL games only.
No, unless the NTSC TV has a PAL mode, which is extremely rare.
Sony has a strict policy of regional lockouts. NTSC/UC games can only be played on a NTSC/UC machine. NTSC/J games can only be played on a NTSC/J machine. PAL games can only be played on a PAL machine. If you are serious about wanting to play games that are out of the U.S., mod chip or swap disc is the only solution or you can try tracking down a foreign PS2.
No because America is NTSC and Australia is PAL these are different game formats. NTSC is used in north america
Yes.... all xbox 360 games work on all xbox 360s unless the game is scratched Answer 2Canadian Games (with the NTSC sign on them) work on all NTSC consoles(North America, and maybe south America) They will NOT, however work in European and Australian Consoles, Which are PAL, not NTSC, sorry
American n64 games only work on a NTSC console. However Australian games and console are PAL. So they will not work.
no cause its ntsc
It would work fine, the games might not work though since U.S. have NTSC games while most Euro games are PAL
No the PS2 games would only work on there own Older 4 USB port early PS3s
if you live in the United States, go NTSC. for Europe and most of the rest of the world, PAL. It will most likely not work with your television with the wrong version. Do a wikipedia search for PAL and NTSC. Therein the answer lies.
I believe no as these regional lockouts are to keep people from playing import games and pirated ones.
UK games are PAL, US or Jap NTSC games would not be sold in the UK. You might beable to find NTSC games on amazon or ebay. i buy my ntsc wii games from www.play-asia.com
No you cant, since UK uses PAL encoding system, so it stops people from bringing USA games or equipment for the Xbox 360 to UK or vis versa while USA uses the NTSC encoding system, these codes are encoded into the Xbox 360, American=NTSC UK,Europe=PAL
No because the wii is region locked. the US wii is NTSC while the EU wii is PAL. so it will not work, but Australian wii games work on the EU wii as they are both PAL.
No, unfortunately not. Your best bet is to purchase NTSC games off the internet, from eBay or a similar website.
Its probably from a different region. It should say on the box either PAL, NTSC. Most games have region protection so a PAL (European) game won't work in an NTSC (American) console and vice versa.
Yes, it will as long as your TV is NTSC compatible. If it is not, there is and NTSC-PAL adapter available which will allow this to work on older TV which are not compatible with NTSC
your disc or games are from region 1 (notrh america) and second, your console is pal system and your game dosc are in ntsc system
yes but the games you buy there wont, Australian wiis are PAL, whereas American and UK are NTSC
Firstly you need to have a TV that has both NTSC and PAL color cding systems on it. Once you have that go to the settings of your TV and set the color system to AUTO. Then when you insert a NTSC disc it will automatically go into NTSC mode and vice versa. If you don't have an NTSC TV. You can buy a converter that converts NTSC to PAL. this is available in any… Read More
You can just download some file from the net. Click donwload then convert from PAL to NTSC or from NTSC to PAL.
yes if your Xbox 360 is PAL then u have to buy PAL games
No because of PAL and NTSC region locking. UK and Europe are PAL format. While North America is NTSC Format.
yes because ps3 has no region locked blue ray disc games. you can play any games on any ps3 platform with any of these regions without hassles (R1, R2, R3 or R4). The problems with the games come from PAL versus NTSC, but both Australia and New Zealand are in 4 PAL DVD region. While PS3 Blue Ray games are not region locked they still can not play Blue Ray Region A (NTSC) in Region… Read More
Yes it will work in India as most video games handle both 110v and 220v but cant be sure about games because India is PAL and US is NTSC.
it depends on what console sysytem u have if ur consoles pal then it works on pal if its ntsc then it wont work on pal.
Wii has got Multi region and PAL and NTSC If your wii is multi it will open any kind of games PAL-European somehow won't be able to play NTSC-American And the opposite applies
NTSC Baten Kaitos: Origins can be played with Freeloader 1.06b on the PAL GC. It can work for the US version, the JPN version, the Multi Version, and the PAL version.
PSP games are not region locked - and the PSP plays in NTSC format regardless - PAL and NTSC are TV display resolutions, when used in a PSP context it just refers to area of origin.
Yes it will work, you need an adapter from SAKAL for electricity, it costs around $50. One problem you will face is the games, the games in Israel sold as PAL, while US xbox version is NTSC, so if you are gonna buy games in Israel make sure to ask if it is PAL or NTSC. There are some small stores, that offers to get you the NTSC version, but it might take 3 days… Read More
I have a perfectly good game on the ps2 it has no scratches but it wont work but other games work what is wrong?
Maybe you buy PAL Game but your ps2 is working only in NTSC or vice versa.
NTSC AND PAL BASICALLY REGION CODE PAL = UK/EU NTSC= US/Japan I DONT WANT TO CONFUSE BUT THERE IS ONE MORE CALLED SECAM IN FRANCE
Very tough indeed. Not 100% reliable. Better buy your region games only. Also, make sure that if your Xbox is for eg: Ntsc-J, then mostly only Ntsc games will work. Same with Pal etc.
No it won't play because wii games in Dubai are PAL and US games are NTSC. Except if you have a pal wii
all ps3 games are region free it can be played on ntsc and pal, unless you have an old crt tv tv or something like that
sorry no in the UK its only pal so don't go and buy a whole bunch of ntsc stuff
sorry, no you can not. NTSC is a format that can only be played on a NTSC console. NTSC and PAL are two different coding methods. NTSC is coded for the North America and South America. pal is coded for across seas.
ntsc is better
hi, you can but from several places , 1- Carrefour ( PAL ) 2- Jareer Bookstore ( PAL ) 3- Virgin Mega Store ( PAL ) 3- Technical Care ( NTSC ) 4- Falcon Center ( NTSC ) 5- most of a PS3 & Xbox Shops are selling mostly ( NTSC ) , you can find them in markhia roundabout and on the meeras centers sometimes
i don't think so. UK is a pal region and us is a ntsc region. I've had a bad run in with that, i got a free game i had won from Nintendo. but since my wii is ntsc, and the free game was pal , the game i got would not work
If your PS2 is an NTSC one and you have not modified it, no PAL game may work. Only if you modify your PS2, then it will work.
The process of converting a NTSC regionally locked game into one that will play on a PAL regionally locked console varies, depending upon wich console you are attempting to port the game to. The SNES, for example, has an extremely simple regional lockout system. All you need to do is find one NTSC game, one PAL game, and preform a simple case swap by using a screwdriver to open up each cartridge, remove the circuit… Read More
NTSC and PAL are TV refresh rates and don't apply to computer monitors or handheld consoles. When used to describe DS games, it just means their region of release, NTSC region is the US, PAL is Europe, etc. However there's no difference in the video refresh rate for the different regions, and DS consoles are region free, so yes, you can play European games on a US DS, there's no problem.
