The Playstation 3 wireless controllers stop working when the battery fails to take a charge because they operate on a charged battery.
PS2 controllers break and can be replaced. The market is loaded with used working PS2 controllers that should be purchased if your controller is not working perfect.
I didnt know ps2 controllers were wireless too, anyway Buy a New One.
The wireless controller of a PlayStation 3 could stop working for a number of different reasons. If it stops working because the battery will not hold a charge you would need a new battery. You could still use the controller by plugging it into the PlayStation 3 and using it while it is plugged in.
The PlayStation 3 wireless controller will still work even if it isn't charging when connected via the USB cable. It will not delay the charging time at all to use the controller while it is charging using the charging cable and should be fully charged within 2 hours for the Dual Shock 3 controller. If the controller will not take charge, it will eventually stop working .
No, the PlayStation 1 & 2 memory cards will not stop working.

Chances are, ATC will be gone eventually. Nothing lasts forever. NASA is working on a "Highway in the sky" to get rid of most controllers known as EN ROUTE controllers. As for major airports, ATC should still be around to work Control Towers and Approach control as well as Radar Final Controllers as many planes aren't always capable to utilize an ILS. So when the weather goes bad, pilots should still be thanking Air Traffic Controllers... But my guess is 200 years before they are completely wiped out.
The number one reason is that they need to be recharged.
Try rebooting your computer as well as the router. If it did not help, and you have wireless connection but not internet reboot the modem.
