Seroquel (quetiapine) does not show up on a drug screen. It is not currently classified as a substance of potential abuse (although some individuals have abused Seroquel for its sedative effects).
Recently, more than a few individuals being drug tested, by urinalysis, have tested positive for PCP, and the only other substance found in their system was Seroquel (a psychiatric medication)...though many have credibility issues and questionable substance use histories, the singular instance that most strongly suggests to me that there may well be chemical (metabolite) similarities between Seroquel and PCP, is the case of the 7 y.o. girl receiving Seroquel for her Bipolar disorder. Clearly, any 7 y.o. would be an unlikely candidate for either accidental exposure to, or the recreational use of, PCP...
Although Seroquel can be measured it won't be detected in standard drug screens and is not considered a drug of abuse.
No Seroquel- is a non narcotic (non addictive) anti-psychotic , used to treat mood disorders. and should not affect a drug test for narcotics

No. It is not a controlled substance,..at least not yet. You ask about the generic form (quetiapine) specifically but it is the same. No drug differences, just names.
Seroquel is an atypical antipsychotic. Benzodiazepines are classified as minor tranquilizers. Seroquel will not show up as a benzo.
