You may also test positive for the metabolites (by-products) of valium: nordiazepam, oxazepam and temazepam. However, if you have a valid prescription in your name for this medication, a positive test will not be an issue.

If you take a drug test and Valium (or any other prescribed drug) shows up, you will receive a phone call from the Doctor that monitors the tests, or a representative hired by the Company to screen drug tests. They will ask you if you take the medication and if you have a legal prescription for it. Some will ask for the prescription number, your Doctors name and phone number and the Pharmacy, along with phone number where you have them filled. Other representatives will just ask that your Pharmacy fax a copy of your medications filled for the past 6 months.

As long as you have a valid prescription, and you send in all required information, the Drug Test will then be classified as Negative and you will not fail.

What WILL fail you are medications in your system that you do not have a valid prescription for and any illegal street drugs.

i mean its a 50/50 ive been doing vicodin for a while "unprescripted" i get random drug test i past it, but i think it depends of the place your getting tested for is looking for it so ill say its a 50/50. well goodluck and alot of liquid!

There's no such thing as "a drug test". There are tests for specific drugs or specific categories of drugs. If the particular test you're taking includes a screening for the benzodiazepine drugs, then Valium will show up; otherwise it won't.
