Right now, currently, nobody has any upcoming information about anything higher than a Ruby Contributor. As of July 2012, there are only 18 users that have reached the Ruby Contributor Level. I'd say that the most common level is Regular, Bronze, and Silver. Gold, Platinum, Double Platinum, and Ruby are more common for Supervisors. This might be an excellent feature that always keeps everyone working, there should always be a higher level to accomplish, that keeps people going and knowledgeable. Maybe they'll come out with a Diamond Level or something for like five million contributions.
Yes - in order to become a Ruby contributor - you need 500,000 contributions. I have come across at least three people with a ruby badge since I first joined (August 2010)
WikiAnswers cannot answer all of your questions because the answers on WikiAnswers are fueled by real-life volunteers. WikiAnswers depends on the knowledge of contributors who come here to WikiAnswers, and not paid professionals. Thus, it is the contributor's choice to answer your question or not.

== Why, yes -- it has been quite wrong under many circumstances. I asked it, "Is the color blue, blue?" and it said "No, it's yellow," so WikiAnswers can be wrong -- but it comes with a free hat.== WikiAnswers is open to public editing, answering and asking. Not everyone has correct information, or the serious intent to give good answers. Supervisors try to correct errors as they come across them. Sometimes, as with this question, there will be multiple answers for you to choose from. One of the ways for you to judge the validity of an answer is to look at the bottom, to see who answered it. Beside the name of the contributor is "Contributor trust:" and then a number. The higher the trust point rating is, the more likely the answer is good.Oh -- and I don't think WikiAnswers has started giving away free hats, yet!

Some are really nice! In general, most contributors and Supervisors on WikiAnswers are people who genuinely enjoy helping others with answers to their questions. If you ever come across a 'mean' contributor, be sure to report them to a Supervisor or in the appropriate topic within the Community Forum and they will be dealt with accordingly.
The Top Contributor badges are given out with the WAmmys. When they come, so will your badge.
