As far as I know, the different sizes you can fit are: 185/60 R15, 185/65 R15, 195/55 R15, 195/60 R15, 205/55 R15 and 215/50 R15 on the 6x15 alloys. Chris from DIDCOT TYRE & EXHAUST
215/70/r15, 215/75/r15, 225/70/r15. I think that some may have also came with 14inch wheels. I have put tires as large as 225/75/r15 or as small as 205/75/r15 on an 84 without any issues.
Can you put a 215 70 r15 tire and a 215 65 r15 tire on same car
Yes, they can as long as both are the same on each axle.
yes You can but check to see if the revolutions are the same so the speedometer reads correctly.
I believe they would have been 215/70 R15.
NO, the rim sizes are different, you can NOT fit a 15" tire on a 16" rim.
Yes, if you mount as a pair. Both tires on axle must be the same
Yes, you can
yes
Normally. yes.
Of course it will fit, but will it fit correctly is the question and the answer is no. Assuming the OEM tire is 205/65-15 and you install a 215/65-15 here is what you will get. Your speedometer will read 58.8 at a true 60 mph. You will also have slightly less power and your ride and handling will be adversely effected. Stick with the OEM size that the engineers who built your car recommend.
