It depends on the snow and humidity and your barometer setting when you start the engine. I have found that forks will generally drive the snow away better but it may take a little longer than the Deere. Orange ones also will throw the snow in a direction you choose which is good to experience.

This mower can use the older 42" Lightning 2 Stage Snow blower, or the new updated 44" 2 stage snow blower that can be purchased through the john deere dealer ship or home depot for around $1400The lightning blower works just as good, it is 2 inches narrower, but they were used on the early 100 series mowers. JD now uses the 44" since the same housing is use on the 100 Series and X Series, so it is a way of using the same product on two different mower lines to save costs. You can score some of the older units very reasonably, usually between 500-700, which is half price off of new, and there is much less maintenance compared to having a complete second snow blower with another motor.
AYP (American Yard Products) and Murray Murray is no longer in business, they were taken over by Briggs and Stratton. Briggs and Stratton also build John Deere and Simplicity and a few other makes of snowblowers. The lower priced Craftsman (in Canada ) snow blowers are built by MTD, the higher priced models are built by Husqvarna in their AYP factories in the USA.

Well it should tye them. I don't know why they are not tying them. Why don't you take just the baler out in the field without the kicker if that is one you have the one without the kicker. And see what happens with them that way. Have someone drive the tractor and you stand like next to the baler and watch it.
