It depends on the snow and humidity and your barometer setting when you start the engine. I have found that forks will generally drive the snow away better but it may take a little longer than the Deere. Orange ones also will throw the snow in a direction you choose which is good to experience.

How to Choose the Right Model John Deere Tractor For Your Lawn?

There are only a few brand names in tractors that people seem to trust over and over. John Deere is one of them. These tractors are consistently among the top-sellers. The only trouble is, with a company that’s been in business for so long and has developed so many tractors, it can be hard to know how to choose the right model of John Deere tractor for your lawn; but of the many variations on the market, there are a few that stand out. John Deere LA115 The LA115 is a perfect choice for those purchasing their first tractor. The price is usually in the $1,700 range, which makes it quite affordable for this kind of machine. The 42-inch vehicle is both comfortable and easy to maneuver, which is great for learning to master the driving. The LA115 also has automatic transmission and comes with several attachments for various spots around the yard. This model is capable of nice, even cutting, but generally is most effective on lawns no bigger than a couple of acres. John Deere X304 The X304 has a bit higher price tag. at around $3,500, but it is a reliable and effective machine. Also 42 inches in size, it is built to last a long time, even with a 17-horsepower, V-twin engine. The vehicle also comes with a four-year warranty. As far as performance, the X304 offers the same comfort as the LA115 and a bit control with four-wheel steering and a 15-inch turning radius. This tractor is ideal for tackling those lawns that are several acres in size, especially with trees scattered about. Although John Deere and its arsenal may seem a bit overwhelming at first, choosing the right Deere tractor for your lawn is an easy decision, depending on the size of your lawn and how much you would like to spend. That way, you can focus on whats important and that’s keeping your yard as pristine as it can be.
