yup it should bolt right up
Transmission problems can result in costly repair costs. The most common transmission problems are leaks and problems with the torque converter, solenoid or clutch.
I had one. I had to have the transmission rebuilt. Nightmare!!
The automatic Toyota may be stuck in park because of transmission problems. The transmission may be jammed or stuck in that gear.
ATF means automatic transmission fluid
Fluid Problems Low fluid is probably the most common transmission problem.Solenoid Problems A problem related to fluid levels is a faulty solenoid. Needle Bearings There are several problems that can occur with the torque converters in transmission systems. The first is that the needle bearings of the converter--which separate the stator, impeller, turbine and converter housing--can be worn. If you hear noises from the transmission except while in neutral, the bearings most likely are the culprit. Clutch The clutch within the torque converter can jam.
It can make the engine run so poorly that it seems like the transmission has problems. It can make the engine run so poorly that it seems like the transmission has problems.
The parking brake is on or the transmission (automatic) or the clutch (standard) has problems.
Would need a better description of the noises and also whether you had an automatic or manual transmission in order to answer this. As is, problems with the torque converter, problems with the vacuum system, problems with the solenoids if it's an auto, clutch in need of replacement if it's a manual... . all those possibilities and more.
Yes it is. It will go right in there with no problems. Will not have to change anything.
Most modern North American, Japanese and many larger, high specification German cars have an automatic transmission that will select an appropriate gear ratio without any operator intervention. They primarily use hydraulics to select gears, depending on pressure exerted by fluid within the transmission assembly. Rather than using a clutch to engage the transmission, a fluid flywheel, or torque converter is placed in between the engine and transmission. It is possible for the driver to control the number of gears in use or select reverse, though precise control of which gear is in use may or may not be possible. Automatic transmissions are easy to use. In the past, automatic transmissions of this type have had a number of problems; they were complex and expensive, sometimes had reliability problems (which sometimes caused more expenses in repair), have often been less fuel-efficient than their manual counterparts (due to "slippage" in the torque converter), and their shift time was slower than a manual making them uncompetitive for racing. With the advancement of modern automatic transmissions this has changed.
This more than likely your transmission starting to slip. You should take it to a reliable mechanic to fix this.
Try changing the transmission fluid and filter
