yes, if they both have a tack, otherwise, no
remove instrument cluster and clean plug at rear of cluster and other plug in dash, common problem - dirty plug causes no cluster activity and or goofy stuff
If nothing on the dash (instrument cluster) is working, I would suspect the electrical plug in back is disconnected.
I bought a 1994 silverado dash cluster, to put in my 1990 silverado because i was told it would fit. I took the old one out, and was going to put the 1994 silverado cluster in, but the plug in the back was not the same, but I have been told several times that it would work, so i am not sure, perhaps the plug can be changed With the first answer, im not sure about the plugs. But everything else from an 88-98 interchange so i don't see why it wouldn't
1994 Accord is OBD1 not OBD2. Under dash, driver's side.
A 1994 Intrepid is OBD1. The connector is a 6 way under the dash on the driver side.
remove the surrounding bezel and under dash panel remove the two big bolts that hold the steering column up let the column rest on the seat remove upper and lower screws that hold the gauge cluster in then pull er out and disconnect all the plugs in the back and the bulbs plug into the back of the cluster ya cant miss em it's easier than it sounds
check the instrument cluster connection in back .. i got one and they would work sometimes then shut off .. i hit the dash cluster and they came on .. hense a bad connection at back plug on instrument cluster .. it runs through the plug at back of instrument cluster. sometimes the connection gets dirty doesnt make good contact. clean them up . fix is to take the instrument cluster out and clean up the connections in back.
It is located under dash passenger side. Just below the glove box..
First would to check the fuse I assume you checked that, them check under the dash to see if the plug is in the back of the cluster. If you work on the cluster while in the driver's seat make sure you ! disarm ! the air bag system. Never work near the air bag as it can cause serious injury of even kill you.
It is just a thin 'sheet' that fits on the back of the cluster & has a plug-in attachment. I have a 70 RS/SS, rebuilt from ground - up. I never liked all the gauges all over the place so I wanted all the gauges in the dash - got mine at a local junkyard :) *Skylla*
Sounds like the ground for the dash is not good. Check the plug on the back of the instrument cluster is pluged in right. Good luck Jerry
pull your dash out if their is a thin flat wire that looks like computer wire that has a plug on one end that may be un pluged or broke
