yes, from 1994 to 1998 they should be identical rear axle assemblies. however, if your using one from a 6cyl, it will be a 7.5" rear end, and v8 car (both cobra and GT) it will be an 8.8" so try to stick to whatever you had originally (aka, if its a 6cyl keep the 7.5) unless you are doing a 6cyl to v8 swap, then the 8.8" is highly recommended.
