The knock sensor for the 1993 Chevy Cavalier is located in the back of the motor. It can also be located in the engine valve.
The 2001 Chevrolet Cavalier 2.2 liter engine drive belt diagram can be found in the owners manual. The belt diagram can also be obtained from most auto-parts stores, when you purchase the belt.

Number is 28322. It has wiring diagrams in it. I have seen these books in Used Book stores also. New price is about $18.00. Used book price is $4.00 to $6.00. Hope this helpsAnswerI do know that the wiring for the dimmer in a 95-99 is different than a 2000+ so there has to be a different book for the 2000+. Also, the slave bearing setup is completely different on a 95-00 than a 2001. I know, cuz I bought a slave bearing kit for a 2000 cuz the 2000 is the EXACT thing as a 2001...WRONG
There were only 2 engines available in the '89 Cavalier. If it's a 4cylinder, it's a 2.0liter If it's the V-6, then its a 2.8liter. There also should be a sticker on the radiator core support. Also the 2.8 has it stamped on the plenum chamber, top of the motor.

I have a 2000 cavalier automatic and my motor and tranny are doing the same thing, try replacing your transmission mount and your torque strut motor mount. also check to see if you have the correct amount of fluid in your transmission... if neither of that hepls, then you probably have to replace your transaxle or torque converter. it could be so many things a really couldn't tell you exactly where to start..

If the heater fan is not blowing on a 2001 Chevy S10 Pickup, it is possible that the fuse needs replacing. It is also possible that debris is interfering with the operation of the fan. Could also be, a faulty fan motor, a faulty fan motor speed resistor, a faulty fan motor switch,
Could also be the belt tensioner ...
If the noise is a squeaking sound, it could be coming from the bearings in the blower fan. It could also be coming from a worn bushing or bearing in the blower motor.
It's located up inside of the blower motor housing under the dashboard. I also have included a link to a video that will show you how to get to the resistor and also the tools that you will need for the job.
Buy a hammer and some cardboard to cover the top, also don't forget the ductape.
