it is possible, but then you have to decide how much effort and or cash you are willing to put in to making it work. how far you are willing to go in other words.
A 91 engine will not fit in a 98 Escort. The 91 engine is from a generation II Escort whereas a 98 engine is from a generationIII Escort.
Yes it will. They are both 3rd generation Escorts. To find out if an engine will fit your Escort compare the 5th digit of the VIN between your car and the car the engine is coming out of. If it is the same the engines are the same.
I believe that only 96-99 can be swapped 2000 and newer will not fit correctly.
i have a 1992 ford escort lx 1.9l. will a 1995 ford escort engine fit. and what would have to replace.
the headlights used on the 1998-2003 ZX2 are all interchangeable. The only differences in the headlights are those used in 1998 as they were slightly different in appearance. Other than that, there are no differences in fitment from 1998-2003
no
i think the biggest engine you could fit in a 1993 ford escort gt 1.8 is a 1998 ford escort zx2 2.0 turbo engine with intake manifold and coilovers to get hp that you can actually manage in the car. but then you would have to completely redo the wiring harness from a zx2 to a 93 escort and get the transmission from the zx2 to fit also in the 93 escort, with the right motor mounts youll be set.
No
Yes, they are the same engine design.
It will fit in there but none of the brackets, cables, mounts or lines will fit. No!
95 on, are all the same.
