235/60-15 or 215/65-15 are both acceptable swaps. I would go with the 215/65 as you may have clearance issues with the 235 series tire.
The 205 60R is a narrower tire than a 215 60R 15, however they will probably both fit the same size rim.
Yes, the 65 tire is only slightly taller.
Yes, you can. If it is four wheel drive, do not shift into four on pavement or dry ground with different tire sizes.
Can a 225/60R 16 tire replace a 235/70R 16 tire.
215-60r-16.
00' Malibu is 215 60R 15 .
Yes, they are
Typically yes, however, they will be slightly smaller diameter as well as narrower. The 215 is the width of the tire in millimeters and the 60 is the aspect ratio percentage, so a 215 60-series tire is 215*0.6=129mm tall (bead to tread). A 205 60-series will be 123mm tall, reducing the diameter by 12mm, or about 2%, which will reduce the speedometer and odometer readings by the same percentage (you'll be travelling 2% slower and 2% less distance than indicated). A 195 65-series would be a closer approximation, at only 4.5mm smaller.
Generally, no.
Yes, you can
A 285 60R 17 will replace that
