what is the torque setting 1973 FORD F100 360 engine . for my heads and manfuld thanks
all small block mopar part interchange......... 68 manifolds have smaller ports. 76 has emission ports in them.you need 75-78 manifolds
Rear of engine block, behind intake, next to distributor
Should be o.k. as long as it is a 318 truck. 360 is balanced different.Check the rear of intake manifold for an egr valve, some models, years do or do not have an egr valve.simple manifold swap will fix this.exhaust should be fine.watch out for grand Cherokee 318, it has starter on other side of the block!
The firing order for the small block Chrysler engines of this era is 1 8 4 3 6 5 7 2. Engines of v-8 design under 360 cubic inch displacement (5.9 litre) are small block design. Most factory intake manifolds have the firing order cast into the manifold
1-8-4-3-6-5-7-2 If it stilll has the stock intake manifold it's written on it.
no heads and intake are different form a 360 to a 318
it comes with a 302 ,360 ,411 ,365 horsepower engine
As far as bolting up, yep, it's a go. Not certain how many, if any, sensors would need to be added to the block and/or heads. Also, the distributor will need to be the one from the TBI engine, since it functions as a cam position sensor for the injection/computer. A friend put a 1990 TBI 360 into a 1985 Chrysler Fifth Avenue after swapping the injection for a 4 barrel intake and carb, so I know it bolts up.
Dead Block happened in 360.
Depending on your intake system, you should be anywhere from 360 to 380.
302, 351, 360, 390, and 427
