***SUM'S Answer***-As far as I know, owning a Dakota with a 318. Yeah it should work.
in the years of 69 through 72, it had 270 hp. and 230 torque. I found some specs on the Dakota. Got different results for the years.1991-1993 - 5.2 L (318 cu in) Magnum V8, 230 hp (172 kW)1994-1996 - 5.2 L (318 cu in) Magnum V8, 225 hp (170 kW)
I don't have a 1992 ramcharger 318 magnum
It could either be a 5.2L (318) or a 5.9L (360).
