yes the only option for a v8 on those cars is a 350 but they were the lt1 from 93 to 97 in 98 to 2002 they were ls1 the ls1 is actually a 347 i do believe but they still called it a 350 but who cares awesome engine now if your talking taking an older 350 now your gonna run into problems no that it wont bolt in but if your running a carburetor then your going to have clearance issues with the cowl and none of those engines had a distributor on the back of the engine the lt1 ran a optispark which was mounted between the water pump and the harmonic balancer and the ls1 ran a direct ignition system with that being said everything in those cars were computer controlled except the 1993 automatic trans now where your going to run into problems is any Chevy 350 will bolt to your crossmember up till 1997 where they still used the same engine mounting style if your going from v-6 to v-8 you just have to swap the mounting pads to easy if you going to a ls1 in a non ls1 pre 1998 camaro then life will be easier to get the k member out of a 98 or newer since the engine is a whole new breed hope that helps
I've seen someone take seats from a 4th gen Camaro and put them into a 3rd gen. I don't know if the seat brackets are a direct bolt on, but anything is possible, really. Yes they are a direct bolt on, at least in 3rd to 4th gen and vice versa
I believe that the 5th gen 20'' rims will fit the 3rd gen Camaro. i know that they will fit the 4th gen so should fit the 3rd
Yes
It should, but may be a tad wider
The seats in my third gen (88 iroc) came from a 4th gen. No modifications.
The motor is an lt1. 5.7 liter/350 cubic inches. SS didnt arrive for 4th gen until 1996
Yes but it will stick out about 2" on each side. Which is good if your running 4th gen rims. Otherwise itll look funny.
4th gen and 5th Gen yes. The SS was the "upgrade" version of a Baseline Z28
umm there's no such thing as a 09 Camaro the last camaro produced was in 02 and it was the 4th gen except the new 2010 model
yes, even though they are different styles, (early 4th gen and newer 4th gen) you can swap front clip and make your 96 look like a 99 with no probs
No. The 4th gen rear end is 4 inches longer.
yes but of course you will need new motor mounts and transmission
