It should fit as long as both engines are the 3 cyl 1 litre types, but you will need to swap flywheels.
4l60e 4 speed with 5 speed automatic overdrive
The automatic transmission for a 1993 Ford Escort is a 4-speed automatic with overdrive. It also has a 1.9 liter engine and an 88 horsepower.
I found a listing for a 1988 Mazda B2600 ( 2.6 L 4 cylinder engine / 3 speed automatic transmission / 4X4 ) and listings for 1990 through 1993 Mazda B2600I ( 2.6 L 4 cylinder engine / 4 speed automatic transmission / 4X4 )
should be a 4 speed automatic
Yes, it is possible providing that they both carry same engine... if your spirit originally had the A604, 4 speed automatic then there will be abit more work that would be needed.
i had a 1993 1.0 3 door metro and i got up to 53MPG at the height of its life The 5 speed manual gets better MPG over any Automatic Transmission. The engine size also has to deal with this, the 3 cyl is better than the 4 cyl models. There are so many things that effect the MPG of a vehicle, that you really can't answer which is best.
Is it an automatic or standard? automatic and fluid is not pumping when engine is running
5 speed or automatic?
That would be a 4L80E Transmission.
The automatic transmission dipstick is located towards the passenger side of the engine compartment , by the firewall . next to the engine
Three speed automatic doesnt take gear oil. It takes dexron type 2 automatic fluid.
Sure will. Any Metro motor from 1989-1997 will fit in it assuming that they are of equal size (ie) 3 cylinder 1.0L to 3 cylinder 1.0L. You can put a bigger engine like a 1.3L from a Swift in it but it requires a bit of tweaking.
