It can be done fairly easy. 2000-2003 <-----4.7L motors are the same other than a 16 tooth or a 32 tooth ignition system. You simply swap the flywheel and tone rings from one to the other to make it the same tooth system as yours that you removed. The main difference you should find the 16 tooth is on the 2000 and 2001 motor. Not sure if the 2001 ever had the 16 tooth. 2002-2003 is 32 tooth.
