it will fit with out cutting the fire wall i have a 1989 f150 xlt with a 5.0 in mine and the bronco has the same set up just no truck bed you should be able to drop it in and bolt her up and 1 full complete tune up and you will be on the road with a powerful v8, ive got glasspacks on mine look into it its a great sound mid range power and a low rumble not to bad on the ears hope this helps
