The cab and front sheet metal will fit but you will have to bobb your bed about 11 inches shorter.
No !
I have heard that the '61-'66 Ford F-Series will fit with slight modifications on F-series and Bronco chassis's up to 1992.
yes but you will have to make body mounts on the frame to match those fo the body
No, the Ford Bronco's vehicle body classification code lists it as a utility, which makes it an SUV. However, it as aggressive and powerful a platform ever made in it's class, which makes it easily mistaken as a truck.
Ranger
No , the 1972 Ford Bronco is a full size vehicle
1973-1977.5
The bolt pattern on a Ford Bronco or 1/2 truck (F150) is 5 on 5.5 (5/5.5).
Yes. The Bronco body style didn't change again until after 1989.
I know that they fit rather nicely on a mid 70s 1/2 ton frame (short wheel base of course) . I have a 1956 F-100 sitting on a 1975 frame, the front body mounts even line up fairly well. The only drawback is that most of these conversions include major clearancing of the firewall to fit a v8 (mine has a 460 c.i. Ford) . The frame is much stiffer but is also much heavier than the original. I have also seen a 56 on a late 70s bronco frame, it looked great and fit nice.
Try a Ford Ranger pickup. Any F100 frame will be too wide to fit the tires under the fenders. A common swap is an S10 frame.
Ford is an excellent company with all American values and standards. The Bronco is a sturdy work vehicle. The lack of a bed is the only thing that makes this second to an actual truck.
