I am havingtrouble with my 93 Prizm 1.6 with the Auto Transmission. I belive the Speed Sensor is on the back side of the transmission. Look down from the back of your motor and look for an electrical connection to the top of your trans. Unhook the wire and its a 10mm both to get it off.

It does not have a governor. Speed is computer controlled.
Top speed is 170 m.p.h. It will do the quarter mile in 5.2 secs.
sounds more like blower motor resistor cost about $30.00 from dealer and 2 screws hold it in place
No load speed is the speed that the motor run when it has no load, i.e., the motor is separated from the engine, that speed is than greater than the rated speed, because the rated speed is the speed whwn the motor are linked to the load and it is the full load.
synchronous motor is a constant speed motor because it will only run at a synchronous speed or not at all.the speed can be changed by changiing the frequency only ns=120f/p
