A 2.4L to a 2.4L only and a 2.2L to 2.2L only. If it is automatic trans,no, the tranny wont work and you will have to use the original tranny that is in the cavalier. The gear ratio is different and you will have 2nd and reveres gear only. It confuses the computer and will have shift solenoid trouble codes that you can do nothing about. The tranny will look and fit exactly the same but it wont work right. But if the engines are the same liter, yes the engines are the same and will swap out.
no headlights different
Yes
what rims will fit a 97 chevy cavalier
Maybe a lug nut would probably interchange........
yep its the same size engine bay as long as you got motor and transmission ur good
A 97 Chevy Cavalier can take standard 10w30 motor oil as it provides good all around performance. A lower viscosity oil is more desirable in cold weather.
If you have imagination,cutting torch,and a welder.
No, the piston won't fit out the bottom
It is not a direct fit.
Usually about $40-50
No
well being as the 95 and 97 are the same models, there shouldn't be any issues with the swap
