Sin is acquired and can be shed. Therefore sin is not the real nature of man; God will accept man whether he has sinned or not. All men fall far short of being perfect, and all men have sinned. But repentance is the key to forgiveness, in our doing so God will remember our sins no more, that is unless we repeat them. We are all tempted and succumb to temptation, but there is a way of redeeming ourselves and still receive a worthwhile reward. Answer: The above statement is correct. God's forgiveness does not depend upon the blood of Jesus - that is, actually, a cop-out. God's forgiveness depends upon YOU. Repent - even many times - God is the most forgiving, the most merciful.

Yes, If sinners could not go to heaven, it would be empty. Everyone has sinned, we all fall short of the glory of God. That is why Jesus went and died on the cross, to permanently take our sins away!

First off, The Bible tells us that all men are sinners. There is nothing we can do to change that. But it also tells us that God loves us so much that He sent His son to die for us, to literally take our punishment upon His shoulders. Jesus died on the cross for your sins. He died so that He could spend the rest of eternity with you, and only you. There is only one thing that He asks that we do in return. We have to believe that He died for us, we have to confess our sins to Him, and we have to repent of our sins. The only thing we have to do is give our lives over to Him. And believe me, it's worth it. I'm not saying it will be easy, don't get me wrong here. But no matter what happens to you on earth right now, you know for certain that there is a loving Savior in Heaven waiting for you. The only thing we have to do...accept His free gift of salvation. That's it.

No. Being Catholic does not automatically guarantee salvation.

Catholic AnswerNothing imperfect can enter heaven. Anyone who dies with ANY stain of sin or imperfection on their soul will not be able to enter heaven. However, God, who is mercy itself, provides for people who have not died in mortal sin with purgatory so that they may be cleansed from the stain of their sins. Anyone who dies in a state of mortal sin casts themselves immediately into hell. One mortal sin is enough to completely kill the live of grace in your soul and forbid your entry into heaven. Very few people actually end up going to heaven when they die, as there are very few people who are actually perfect when they die, people who die without any stain from sin. We call those people saints. However, EVERYBODY saving Our Blessed Lord and his mother, who goes to heaven was a sinner at one time. Everyone of us was born in original sin and with a fallen nature. Thus we thank God that we are given the time we are given and for the fact that there is a purgatory.

.

Bottom line? Every Catholic sinner will be going to heaven, if they have been forgiven of their sins and have no mortal sin on their soul when they die.

How do you know if im going to heaven?

To go to Heaven, you have to admit that you are a sinner, believe that Jesus is the Son of God and that He died on the cross to save you of your sins, and you must confess your sins. PurgatoryRoman Catholic AnswerA sinner bad enough for hell is anyone who dies with an unforgiven mortal sin on their soul.
