I have a hieroglyphic river cooter and he has only ever tried to bite twice in the year that I have had him. I believe this is because the first time my brother was wiggling his finger in front of his face and the second was just before feeding time, because I have them on a feeding schedule they know when they are going to eat...that might be why he tried to bite. It didn't hurt at all, it was just a bit surprising.
Any turtles bites. It all just depends on how used to people they are, and how safe they feel with you. If you want a friendly turtle, you have to spend time with it in a secure environment on a regular basis.
Not very dangerous! Snapping turtles can bite your hand off if you provoke them.
Well.......... They dont really have much but the Red Eared Slider turtle will bite if you make it mad and the Snapping turtle could bite your finger off! The Alligator Snapping turtle has a 300 pound bite! That is about the only thing!
Yes, they do bite my brother almost lost a finger on one.
No. Hopefully and presumably not.
Alligator

No, it is natural for them to snap at things.
The jaw muscles are powerful.
When you kiss a sea turtle, you would hurt your lip because some turtles are dangerous. So when you kiss a turtle, that turtle might bite you!
Yes, if it's a snapping turtle, it can SNAP your finger right off!
well ,it depends on how the catfish is acting. if it annoys the turtle or harasses it, the turtle will obviously react.
