The manufacturer put the gun's caliber on the barrel for a reason. If the ammo box dosent say exactly that, it could be because its made by a company other than the oem stuff, or just wrong. Dont blandly accept the word of the clerk who happens to be at the ammo ciunter; dont be afraid/ embarassed to get the gunsmith, or several other clerks to help you clarify your understandable confusion. Some ammo IS interchangeable, differring in name only by rifling twist. There IS NO interchangeability between 30 remington, and ANYTHING ELSE. You're welcome, goodluck, and goodday
NO it will not...Remington .30 cal ammunition is rimless....30-30 and 30-06 are both rimmed ammunition and will not fit into a .30 cal Remington pump action rifle.
No.
Not without some adapter device.
Slightly less than 3 miles.
NO!!
There is no "Remington USA 1906" rifle although there is the Remington Model 8, which was introduced in 1906. This is a semi automatic rifle that was chambered for one of four possible calibers; .25 Remington, .30 Remington, .32 Remington, or .35 Remington. The caliber that your rifle is chambered for should be stamped on the side of the barrel, just forward of the receiver.
NO very bad idea the bolt should not even close to do it but if it dose i wouldn't do it
No. They are totally different size and shape cartridges. 22LR si rimfire, 22 Hornet is a centerfire.
Some are rimfire, some are centerfire. Depends on the design of the firearm.
No. A 30 Remington is a rimless 30-30. The .30ar is a .308 size bolt face and I don't think your rifle would stand the pressure anyway.
NO The ammunition must match the marking on the Barrel exactly. If you do it is an accident waiting to happen.
The 514 was made from 1948-1970, it will shoot short, long, or long rifle (although finding longs is now becoming somewhat difficult)
