Tonight I tried to feed my king snake a mouse and my snake ignored it, even after I trapped the mouse within inches from my snake. So I removed that one and dropped in another and my king snake ate it with no problems. I bet in the morning that mouse it wouldn't eat will be delivering baby's But on You-tube I saw a ball python eat what the feeder says was a pregnant mouse so idk.

However except for breeding purposes, Ball Pythons should not be housed in the same cage they are loners and can become stressed and stop eating when housed together. They're possibly the 4th easiest snake to look after, followed by the corn snake, the king snake and the the milk snake.
