Will the fuel injector on a 4.3 94 Chevy blazer stop the truck from starting?

That truck has two fuel injectors in the throttle body. I doubt that both are bad. I would suspect the fuel pump is faulty.

How do you stop gas from going into a cylinder?

I don't know why you would want to stop gas from going into a cylinder, but there is only one way i can think of. If it is a fuel-injected vehicle, you can disconnect the fuel injector harness from that cylinder, that will stop the injector from firing. If it is has a carb, I don't think there is a way.

How to stop the fuel injector knocking noise on a 1996 Toyota tacoma?

What can cause gas to get into oil?

Typically that's when an injector "leaks" fuel after the engine is turned off, the fuel pools in the cylinder then the fuel slowly leaks past the pistons and builds up in the crankcase. It would be a good idea to find out which injector is causing the problem, or at the very least, run some injector cleaner through to see if you can stop the condition.

What can cause gas to get into the crankcase on a 97 Pontiac 4-cylinder fuel injected 2.2?

Possible causes of fuel in crankcase are: Leaking injector at shutdown, flooding of the engine due to hard starting, defective fuel pressure regulator. A fuel pressure check for drop of fuel pressure at shut down will verify if an injector is leaking. Get this fixed ASAP, and stop driving the car until you do. Fuel in the crankcase will cause severe engine wear and destroy this engine. Change the oil and filter if you have to drive it anywhere for repair.

Will rust in fuel lines stop a car from starting?

Yes, it can block a filter or destroy an injector. Fuel lines should never have rust in them, since fuel is an oil based material that actually prevents rust. If you have rust in the fuel tank it's because condensate has been allowed to build up. You need to take care of the problem.

Why does your Honda engine vibrate when at stop light?

Spark plug miss, fuel injector problem, burnt valve, or vacuum leak but the check engine light should be on if this is the case. Also possible broken motor mount if the check engine light is not on.

How do you tell if your car needs the fuel injector replaced?

I had a 1987 Pontiac Grand Am I found out that the injector needed to be replaced when the car would start for only a few seconds and the die out abruptly. The injector would only spray enough fuel into the throttle body in order to start it then would stop, the injector was located in the middle and above the throttle body making for an easy repair.

Would a broken knock sensor stop a car from starting?
