The Chevy V8s are pretty interchangeable. Just make sure that the year of the engine is the same as the vehicle you are putting it in. Also if the Camero wasn't a V8 to begin with, you will have a lot of electric work and a computer change to go with all of the other mods.
8 (V8)
Not likely since the 93 Caprice 305 was fuel-injected and the 86 Monte Carlo 305 was carbureted
A V8 engine
sure
For a V8, LT1 is the most common.
5.0 L V8. The 5.7 L V8 will also fit.
Depends, truck/van/suv motors were usually L31's . LT's were generally put in camero/firebird/roadmaster/caprice/impala/fleetwood/vette's. LS1's were vette/camero/firebird motors in 97. 2004 gm put it in the GTO.
5 quarts
With enough money and modifications, maybe.
.035 is recommended
yesAnswerSurely it will NOT. 94 V8 Automatic needs 94-97 V8 Transmission from Camaro, Firebird or Caprice (4L60E). AnswerFor you above me.. the v6 and v8 share a 4L60E transmission... YES they will fit. The auto is kept in check by the rear gear... The 4L60E is nothing more than a 4L60E
Yes it would fit, it is a smaller engine a (4.5L V8 for the '89 vs. the 4.9L for the '93) but would it work with the 1993's transaxle and computer is the question. I am not sure because both engines were similar the 4.9L V8 is larger verison of the 4.5L V8 which was used in Devilles from 1988-1990.
