If your child at this age needs diapers I would assume you have checked with the doctor why this is the case. When it comes to diaper him/her they are fully capable of putting it on themselves. It's not like a baby. There are pull up pants just as for toddlers that would probably be best or just ordinary adult diapers. If leaking urine during the day is a problem I know there's a "penis-pocket" type of diaper for men that we have used for grown ups who leaks.
