No. There are thousands of possible blood tests that can be run on a sample. Unless the doctor needs to know if you are under the influence for medical or legal reasons, a marijuana test or drug screen will not be ordered. If the doctor does order one for a lab to do, it usually done with a urine sample to screen for a panel of drugs. The drugs in a panel vary from lab to lab. If a drug screen is positive it is usually sent to a more complex laboratory for quantification and confirmation. I am a medical laboratory technician in a hospital setting who performs blood and urine tests.
