yes you can, as long as its not an xr series, the radiator support panel is different
Blocked radiator or Blown head gasket
Yes, the EA and EB Falcon are basically the same frame and chassis as the ED, EF, EL Falcon, it's mostly the panels that are different. And as a matter of fact, you'd get that 4sp Auto into even later cars, AU, BA and BF all used the 4sp, although some electrical things were changed, it would technically 'fit'.
no drain plug just undo lower hose
hi yes el/ef auto trans do fit, just make sure you use el/ef torque converter. also check that your electrical fittings are same , if not take of your g/box. I personally have done this. if you need more confirmation look under auto transmissions for fords on ebay, a lot of the wreckers tell you g/box fits from eb to bf
Ford EL Falcon was created in 1996.
how do i take a belt tensioner arm off a el falcon
no.
depends on ea falcon, is it 3 or 4 speed? and age of ea, if its 4 speed and a later ea u can, the other problem is the gear shift handle, the differ slighty from ea, eb, ed, to ef ef series, but a little stuffing around u can get it
Yes they will physically fit, as long as the EL Falcon they are going on is not too low. EL's can take some pretty fat wheel & tyres. However, XF falcons (i think) came out 14" wheels, where as EL's came out with 15" standard or 16" as optional. This will have an affect on the speedo reading, It would for example, if your on one of the HWY's it would be saying you were doing 100kph, but you would be really doing about 88kphs and have everyone be passing you, PLUS the engine would be reving higher then usual to maintain the speed approx 3100 with a EL and 4 speed auto. Hope this helps.
OUT OF GAS?
Where is the turn signal flasher relay placed on a Ford Falcon EL?
