Maybe. Chances are in between. It depends on if your cats are outdoor. If they are outdoor, and there is food or water laying around your yard and is not fenced in, then yes, if the fox will ever get the chance to, he will.
But▬It also depends on the size of the fox. Most foxes are about the size an average domestic house cat, but if your cat is abnormally large, the fox will most likely leave him/her alone.

I moved from the North East coast of the US to the South East urban/suburban/metro Denver in 2007 and in 3.5 years, I have lost 4 cats to foxes roaming in the neighborhood of Denver 80231. I have seen foxes near my property strolling up and down sidewalks with very little fear. I have spent many nights shewing foxes and coyotes away from my property as they hunt for and attack my cats within their own fenced in back yards.
In Denver metro, make no mistake. Keep your cats inside. Fear the foxes for your cats and small pets. Foxes and Coyotes do not hesitate to snatch your pet as a snack and if they don't eat them, they do not return them without injury. Keep a BB gun at hand to shew them from your property without killing them.
I share this with you in memory of my cats Joseph, Thomas I, Sammy and Jerry Bear... all taken from me by foxes (eye witnessed) in metro South East Denver.
