If you are running K1 clocks on a K2 bike then the fuel light will stay on. This is because the K1 fuel pump had two thermistor senses but the K2 only has one so the clocks think the tank is low on fuel all the time. I am working on a fix for it but no luck so far. I will post more once I know what to do.

The K designation is Suzuki's latest way of designating each model of motorcycle. e.g the first GSXR-1000 was introduced in 2001 and was designated the K1, the 2002 model (an identical model) was the K2, and so on until next year when they will either continue using the K designation for the next decade or change it to another letter. Previously Suzuki used just letters for their model designations, with the GSXR-1100 starting at G and finishing at the V model.
