A little. Momentum is mass times velocity. The more momentum and object has the harder it is to stop. So the more momentum a bobsled has the more effective it will be against the forces trying to slow it down such as friction, wind resistance, drag, etc.
However, this does assume that the bobsled team can get the heavier sled up to the same speed as a lighter one.
