It's difficult to answer this question with only the information given. How old are you? Your parents don't have to accept your sexuality, and if by "won't allow you to be happy" you mean that they won't allow you to see your partner or to have gay friends, well, they don't have to do that either. So basically, you need a better reason than merely what you've stated (although there may be much more to the story).

It shines and people can see it. Parents get so stuck in their own ways and already have our lives planned out that they forget to find out what it is that makes us "us" and what makes us happy. Once you have accepted yourself, no one can stop you. It will definitely be hard, but that confidence in your sexuality will push you to let your parents knows that "hey, this is who I am. I hope that you will accept me and give me the same love that you have been giving me." If they don't accept it, you can't beat yourself up, though. You just have to move on, live your life, and hope that one day they will see that this is you for the rest of your life and that you will live your life and be happy regardless. If not, still give them the love you have been giving them and know that you are a good person for trying your best.
