YES all small block v8 that chevy has produced from 55 and onward will fit the 700r4 but whatch your hp rating on the engine, because above 400 horse i cant garuntee it will stay on!
No
Yes...and most of them came with the 700r4. If it wasn't originally equipped the 700r4 then you may have to change the tranny cross member.
just take down the old one and bolt up the new one and you will have to run a vacum line to the tranny just did it to my 87 chevy caprice but i had to get my drive shaft shortened
yes it will I've even bolted a 700R4 on a 85 (305)
Yes it will.
Yes, It will bolt right up to it with no problems.
Yes unless the 700r4 came behind a 2.8
Yes it will. It will bolt right up to it.
YES.
yes it will. it will bolt right up
Yes, but the transmission will not bolt up. You would have to use a B-O-P transmission(Buick-Olds-Pontiac). a 200R4 tranny instead of the Chevy 700R4, unless you use an adapter.
They'll bolt up, but not function properly. By the way, the 92 5.7 was not a Vortec engine.
