mcculloch 14" 2.0 chain saw using champion dj7y plug....what is correct gap?
This part number is for a Champion RDJ7Y spark plug. Set gap at 0.025" I bought a replacement plug, DJ7Y, at Home Depot on 10/6/13 for $2.38 + tax. The DJ7Y replaces the RDJ7Y. This plug is used for other tools such as my Ryobi trimmer and McCulloch chain saw.
Take out the three screws on the plastic cover on top. It's the black thing on top. When you have it off you will see the plug. Take off the boot and the plug screws out.
Spark Plug: 0.025", Low: 1 1/8 turn, High: 1 1/4 turn.
The Jenn Feng 9295-310502 spark plug is typically used in chain saws. The champion spark plug equivalent is a RZ7C.

Check for plugged exhaust ports, if the compression can't get out you won"t be able to spin it oner without removing the plug.
Poulan has a diaphragm that goes bad in the carb. It's not expensive to fix it yourself if you do things like that. Take it in and it's $50.00. Plug foul out often too and simulate a fuel problem. Good luck!
