Too much oil in any car can blow the motor. Depending on how much the amount it may just smoke like crazy. How much too much is in there?
The 2003 Honda 600 motorcycle has a motor oil capacity of three quarts. The manufacturer recommends that the motor oil is never overfilled.
IT IS BURNING OIL. YOU MIGHT HAVE OVERFILLED THE OIL OR THE PISTON RINGS ARE WORN OUT.
i have a toyota camry 92 model and i overfilled mu engine oil i just wanna know how i can get rid of the white smoke it was running like crap so i replaced the oil again and drained it to the right amount and replaced the spark plugs the motor is running fine again just smoking again what can i do
Normally smoking is caused by piston rings wearing out, it needs an oil change, or is overfilled and sucking oil into the carb.
Worn piston rings. Incorrect weight engine oil. Gasoline mixed with engine oil. Crankcase overfilled with engine oil.
Because it's been overfilled, or you're using the improper weight motor oil
You most likely overfilled with too much oil. That burning smell is your burning oil. White smoke can be indicative of many things depending of where it is emitting from, but the fact that this only happened after your recent oil change almost certainly points to overfilling.
drain oil from oil pan. theh add oil
White smoke, it is burning oil, black smoke, it is not tuned right. Better get it back to the dealer.
Burning oil produces blue smoke. Generally, it's best to keep the oil in the crankcase and not add it to the intake as burning oil can damage spark plugs, O2 sensors and catalytic converters. If you're adding the oil to the crankcase but the engine burns the oil, it may be overfilled or you may have an engine or PCV problem.
.Mixing a small amount of oil in the diesel fuel will not hurt a motor. The motor will run rough and produce black smoke.
