Will a new person help you forget your ex who suddenly didn't feel for you anymore and you still think about your ex a lot but you are talking to someone else but are hoping your ex will come back?

I think,if your ex is on your mind that much and you hope they will come back, maybe you should talk to them.It sounds like you still love them alot.They might feel the same about you.Most people don't fall out of love suddenly,something must have happened between you two.And it's not fair to you or the other person to use someone to forget your ex.Talk to your ex and see how they feel,you can't just guess about their emotions.You might be on their mind all the time too.Marty Its really horrible to use another person which is what you are doing. Its time for you to get some backbone and dignity and go to your ex and kindly tell them how you feel without grovelling. It will NOT make you feel any better to be with another person when you want someone else. If anything it will make you long for the first person more as you will have a constant reminder this person is not her/him. I think if you had some pride you would not use another person.
