No, this is not an acceptable swap. The 225/55-17 tires will be 1.41" too large in overall diameter and will cause your speedometer to read 63.47 mph at a true 60 mph. Handling, ride, mileage, and performance will be adversely effected. A 195/55-17 would be acceptable. MY advice is to stick with the OEM size.

Then double that answer and add the diameter of the wheel i.e. 17. That will get the overall height. This should help you compare tires. Keep in mind different heights can cause speedometer inaccuracy.
