Yes the transmission manual or automatic are the same. The only thing is the computer might(most likely) need reprogramming.
Depends on which engine you have.
no it wont, because the 97 is a 700r 4l160e and the 99 is a 4l60e, the 97 is a one piece transmission and the 99 is a two piece transmission, on the 99 the bell housing can be removed and the 97 is a one piece.
no
No it will not. The 96 and 97 transmission bellhousings are different.
No
No it will not it is all together different. You MUST use a 97 model 4L60E transmission.
NO. The 97 and 96 transmission bellhousing are different then any other years. You must put a 96 or 97 4L60E transmission back in it.
Yes, they will. Mirrors from a 1999 will go onto a 1997. The mirrors will fit on a 1994-2001.
It may bolt in, but the automatic would not shift. The control systems are not the same.
You need to put a little more detail in. What engine do you have, and what engine did the 99 have?
No, the bell housing pattern is different.
NO it will not work. There is ONLY 2 years that will interchange with the 97 year truck. That is a 1997 and 1996 4L60E transmission.
no it wont you have to have either a 98 or a 99 dodge ram transmission
