yes, been there done that works beautifully
get the trans rebuilt while its out of the car
itll make it much nicer ride especially if its a standard
If its a manual, it will bolt up and function, but not properly. If its an automatic, it will bolt up and not function at all.
My son's 1999 Salvaged/total Saturn SL1 was rebuilt using many engine and body parts from 1995-1999 Saturn SL1 and SL2 cars, I believe it will work fine. I do not recommend before 1995 or 2000 or later models. I do not recommend SL2 either. I am not the expert but most of my son's engine is not 1999 SL1. Good luck!
I drove my 1995 Saturn sl2 until it had 263,000 miles on it. At that time, the transmission started to slip. I then gave it to a friend, to buy a newer Saturn sl1.
It would, if you changed out the trans and the ecm/tcm. The SL2 SC2 transmissions have a different higher reving gear ratio.
The 95 Saturn SL1 does it too.
do a 99 Saturn sl2 have a transmission pan gasket
1.9L SOHC in the SL1, The SL2 has a 1.9L DOHC. I Get 38mpg from mine.
what is the engine diagnostic trouble code # 32
I would think they would. SL1 vs SL2 I thought was SOHC vs DOHC for an engine.
Yes it will.
Yes! both the radiator and the hoses are swapable :) Just besure that if your vehicle has a automatic transmission the radiator has the automatic transmission cooling line fittings.
