Yes. There are concerns that a tsunami could hit Florida. However, the tsunami threat in the Atlantic is much less than it is in the Pacific.
Yes, it is possible but none have happened recently. tsunamis are formed by an earthquake in the ocean, as the waves from the earthquake spread, the wave gets bigger and sometimes dies down or doesn't stop until it hits land.
No I don't think there has ever been a tsunami in Florida since the Cretaceous period because of the asteroid that destroyed the dinosaurs. Unless the African plane sides, we're good (I live in Florida.)
There could've possibly been tsunamis in Florida in the past, but tsunamis happen from earthquakes, and obviously, earthquakes don't happen in Florida, So fellow Floridians, do not worry!
Florida has never been hit by a serious tsunami. It has been inundated by storm surges from Hurricanes on both the east and west sides.
once or twice but it could have been hit millions of times long ago

It is possible. There is at least one volcanic island off the coast of Africa that could trigger a very large tsunamis that would not just hit Florida, but the entire eastern seaboard.

The tsunami hit because of the earthquake shifted the ground and caused the tsunami.
