No, this is dilute enough to sanitize it. Just make sure to wipe the surface off with a cloth which has the solution on it, but is thoroughly wrung out. Any excess moisture could damage it. You can also use pressurized air (in a can, available at office supply), to dust out the inside.

As long as it's bleach will it kill germs?

Bleach is very well known as a disinfectant. Yes bleach kills germs! Its effectiveness is all about the strength, if you are using straight bleach or diluting it in water. A solution of one part bleach to 10 parts water is strong enough to kill the HIV/AIDS virus. When I was still working in home health, our nurses kept a spray bottle with this solution with them at all times to disinfect any areas where an AIDS patient had bled, etc. This solution is not only approved by OSHA, but is recommended.

8 parts bleach to 10 parts water so if you have 15 parts water how much bleach would you need?

The ratio of the mix is 4:5.... therefore you would need 12 parts bleach to 15 parts water.

Can bleach damage laminate flooring?

Yes. Even soap-based cleaners can damage laminate flooring. If you do need to clean laminate, use either a laminate-specific cleaner or a weak vinegar solution (4 parts water to 1 part vinegar) and dry the wet areas ASAP after mopping. If possible, use a spray bottle and wipe as you go.

How much bleach in 20 gallon water to make 1 percent solution?

A one percent solution means 1 part beach and 99 parts water. So we can answer the question by solving the equation 1 part bleach/99 parts water=x gallons bleach/20 gallons water. You can cross multiply. This is the same as 99x=20 so x=20/99 or .20 Let's check .20 gallons bleach/ 20 gallons water=.01 which is 1% .2 gallons is the same as 3.2 cups or 25.6 fluid oz.
