Adding the wedge spacer plate will enhance or increase the performance.
your spacer plate and starter should be the same the flex plate and converter will need to be replaced
between torque converter and engine
The on l y adjustment on the crank sensor is accomplished by gluing a specific thickness spacer to the tip before installation. The spacer is pushed against the flex plate as the bolt is tightened. The spacer is available from the dealer.
I have a 330T O/U trap gun. The butt pad on it is black, ventilated (vertical rectangles), and has a black spacer and a slimmer white spacer (the spacer(s) could have been added, but I do not believe that is the case). BC
Not enough to notice.
Well it just puts the flow of water in differently.
A shim is a spacer that holds things apart. Many commercially available shims are designed for a specific purpose, such as for holding a starter motor the necessary distance from the engine block, and as such those shims are produced in varying thicknesses. As one might guess, a "shim plate" would be a flat spacer that covers a little larger area.
No breaking a plate is a physical change. A chemical change is a change to a substance where its identity changes. When you break a plate you still have a plate not a new substance.
A plate dropping and shattering is a physical change. It is not a chemical change, as the material used in making the plate doesn't change.
The difference would in most cases be negligible, but the simple andswer is better. I would place the nitrous plate underneath your carb spacer right on top of the intake manifold if it is a multiholed spacer. Reason being is that if you have a multihole spacer, it may interfere with the nitrous flow and cause the atomized nitrous and gas to drop out of suspension and puddle. This can cause very bad issues if it builds up and there is a back fire through the intake. However the issue isn`t as much of a problem with an open spacer as there is negligible difference in flow impedance. Now the opposite might be true if you have a very low profile intake. In that case I recommend above an open spacer as it will keep the nitrous jetting from hitting the intake floor, which also would result in some loss of atomized mixture. Hope this has helped
yes you do use a spring plate, due to the fact of the amount of fricion the disc will undertake.
The skid plate does not have to be removed in order to access and change the filter.
