Animals do not have a conscience thus a soul in them like the human beings. God created this universe for the man and so the animals for man's aid and feeding. The animals will thus not be accountable for what ever they did nor will they last till the day of judgment.

Muslims believe many of the same things about angels as Christians do, but there is a greater focus on Gabriel over Michael, since Gabriel facilitated the revelation of the Qur'an. In terms of Judgment Day, the general idea of Judgment Day and the Apocalypse are the same in Islam. Of course, the fundamental difference is that when God sits in judgment, the "correct" answer to what religion you belong to is Islam, not Christianity and Muhammad sits with God as He judges instead of Jesus.

The Day of Judgment refers to a day in the future when people will be judged by a higher power, such as God, for their actions during their lifetime. It is believed to be a day of reckoning when individuals will be held accountable for their deeds and will face either reward or punishment depending on their actions. The concept is prevalent in various religious traditions, including Christianity and Islam.
to guide you through your life through the things written in the Q'uran. they guide you into everything you do in life and Islam helps you to believe in Allah and prepare yourself for the day of judgment. :)
No it does not, "Only Allah" will be the judge and no-one else IF you look at it from the view of Islam or the Qur'an. How can a prophet(a messenger and slave of God) judge people?
On the day of judgment,"kayyamat" they will be punished by Allah (s.w.t.)
Those who not are Muslim go to the hellfire . ( I am trying not to be offensive) Before the day of judgment Jesus( yes we believe in Jesus) or Muhammed will come down from the heavens and tell us that it will be the end of the world.
You don't have to prepare for the judgment day because it isn't going to happen, but if it does and you're not prepared for god to come down from heaven and judge you... blame me. If you want to prepare I suggest you make him fried chicken!
