The antenna doesn't have anything to do with the speakers but if the antenna won't extend then you may only receive the closest station near your area.
Cause.
The antenna wire being unplugged from the antenna can cause this.
It can sometimes cause the speakers to sound distorted if wiring malfunctions
No It wouldn't
1. Buy a Terk antenna. I have tried 4 other brands and there is no comparison. 2. Move the TV or antenna to eliminate interferance. Floresant lights or nearby metal will cause the signal to vary. 3. Connect the antenna then use your TV "menu" to tell your set to use the antenna input. Then choose "auto-program" to let your TV find signals. 4. For many channels, you have to turn the antenna or adjust the sensitivity switch.
A loose wire in the speaker system would cause the music on the radio to break up in a 92 Lexus. The music will also break up if you do not have very good radio reception where you are at.
It's safer to hold a car antenna. The car antenna is a receiver only. The mobile antenna both sends and receives. It transmits calls, texts & data using microwave energy (similar to the energy found in microwave cookers). Although the 'jury is still out' it's speculated that long-term exposure to microwave energy can cause tissue damage.
It shouldn't cause problems as long as they are installed correctly. This is probably a job that is best left to a professional, who will know the best placement for the speakers to minimize damage.
I have a 96 Lexus 300 and after taking off the gas tank, and replacing it they found it was a filter somewhere in the fuel line that was clogged.
If the antenna cable is loose, maybe.
There are a few reasons that would cause your 2002 Pontiac back speakers to only work sometimes. The most common cause is a loose or corroded ground wire.
The antenna circuit is the most likely cause of the static. check to see that the antenna cable is plugged into the radio, and there are no loose wires.
